New Orleans Trip

OCTOBER 15 – 16, 2009

We had a wonderful time! We toured private gardens, ate wonderful food, shopped for hats and visited the word famous French Quarter! This was our wonderful itinerary put together by Chairman Linda Spina.

Thursday, October 15nd

·         Arrive at 11:10 AM

·         Travel for 1 PM lunch at Houmas House Plantation

·         Briefly see a second plantation

·         Cocktails and garden tour of former Women’s Council President Shirley Moseley’s home in the Garden District

·         Dinner at Commander’s Palace

·         Hotel accommodations at Windsor Court Hotel

Friday, October 16th

·         Garden tour of writer Julia Reed’s home in the Garden District

·         Hat Shopping at Yvonne Le Fleur or shop Magazine Street on your own

·         Lunch and shopping in the French Quarter

·        Return to Dallas on 8:05 PM flight
